Blue reuniting for summer concert

Boy band Blue, who went their separate ways in 2005, are getting back together to perform at a summer concert.

The foursome, whose chart hits include All Rise and U Make Me Wanna, will appear at Capital FM's Summertime Ball in London on 7 June.

Band member Simon Webbe refused to confirm whether the group will release new material, saying: "We don't want to give anything away."

All four men have had solo careers since the chart-topping band's demise.

'Fantastic show'

Webbe, Duncan James, Lee Ryan and Antony Costa have had varying degrees of chart success in their own right, with Webbe scoring two hit albums.

Costa made an unsuccessful bid to represent the UK at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2006.

Both Costa and Webbe have appeared on reality show I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here, while Ryan was on Hell's Kitchen but quit the show after three days.

James has made several forays into television presenting, starred in West End musical Chicago and has been cast in new show Legally Blonde.

He also competed in a series of ITV show Dancing On Ice.

The 31-year-old told the London radio station: "Myself and the boys have talked about doing something together again for a while now.

"We met up last week and decided we will definitely be doing something together as a group this summer," adding they looked forward to putting on "a fantastic show".

The Emirates Stadium concert will raise £100,000 for the Help A London Child charity.
