Dynasty star for Hell's Kitchen

Dynasty star Linda Evans, who played the glamorous Crystal Carrington, will be taking part in the new series of Hell's Kitchen, it has been revealed.

The 66-year-old will be joined by seven other stars including actor Adrian Edmondson and presenter Anthea Turner cooking under chef Marco Pierre White.

Turner's husband Grant Bovey and rapper Ms Dynamite are also taking part.

Claudia Winkleman will present the ITV1 reality show when it begins at 2100 BST on Monday 13 April.

Former Shameless star Jody Latham, ex-Liverpool goalkeeper Bruce Grobbelaar and model Danielle Bux complete the line-up of would-be chefs who will learn how to cook a menu of classic dishes.

This year's show sees a change in format, with three Michelin-starred chef White choosing who gets fired from the kitchen in the early rounds, before the public telephone vote is introduced.

Waiter service

Each night the two trainee chefs who have failed to impress White will feel the heat as they are banished into the restaurant to wait on tables.

Each guest waiter will be responsible for serving half the restaurant under the direction of maitre d' Nick Munier.

They will have to take all orders and deliver food to the tables, plus they will be responsible for dishing out the desserts from the trolley.

Turner, 48, said she was not worried about competing against her husband in the show.

She said: "If Grant starts getting a shouting from Marco then I'll join in and go, 'And another thing, he is absolutely right!' I'll be on Marco's side completely and if he's my competition then I'll go for him."

Bux, 29, said she felt she was already at an advantage competing in the show.

She said: "I used to be an air hostess so if I get sent out to wait on people, I think I'll be fine. But that's a punishment - I hope I won't get to that stage."
